Live Stream: The launch of Superbugs - the fight for our lives
In another exciting brief, Ground:zero were asked to live stream the launch of a new exhibition at the Science Museum showcasing the growing threat of anti-microbial resistance in our society through the overuse of anti-biotics.
Our usual concerns over the speed and availability of a high quality internet connection were easily set aside since in this case we were to stream live from the Science Museum itself! Our client was keen to increase employee engagement with the subect matter by providing this live link to their offices. To achieve this they lined up some people to be interviewed by Hayley McQueen of Sky Sports after the introductory speeches by noteworthy personalities including Angela Rippon. On the morning of the event, we arrived at the Science museum with a full camera setup complete with the crew and equipment to send a live feed streaming to the internet. At our client's offices, other member of our team were readying to receive the screen and show it on 103" screens in the main atriums were people were just arriving for work. Those working from home were able to watch the stream live on their mobile phone via a link.
It was great to be involved in this project whcih has been received so well. A month later people were still talking about it and we were still having requests for the edited programme we put together post-event.
We look forwrad to the teh chance to talk to you about how we can help you harness employee engagement through the power of a live broadcast.
